Reiju Workshop!
Markus Van der Westhuizen has offered to come to the Energy Centre from Cape Town to teach us some of the Traditional Reiki practices.
This workshop is only available to Reiki Masters.
(please feel free to forward to any other Reiki Masters you know of...)

Markus will teach the following:
• Jakikiri Joka Hô (technique for cleansing inanimate objects) (Reiki Masters can bring a crystal along to practice this technique)

• Chakra Kassei Kokyû Hô (breathing method to activate the chakras)

• Jika Joka Hô (A method of self-purification) (I will also show another version of this called "Lifting the Sky")

• Kikou Face Massage & Sounding Heaven's Drums (method for finishing meditation and other energy work)

• Hatsurei Hô (method for generating greater amounts of spiritual energy)

• Shô Shû Ten Kô (Microcosmic Orbit — circulation of light; method for refining, raising and circulating internal energy via the Governing Vessel and the Conception Vessel)

• Self Reiju

• Passing Reiju to others

• Distance Reiju

Reiki Masters will receive a comprehensive manual, audio CD (or 2), charts and a certificate.

We need a minimum of 10 people to bring Markus to Durban. I have been practicing some of the techniques and I highly recommend that we support this initiative. Once you know the techiques you can add them into your workshops for your students to learn them and benefit from a Reiju from their own Reiki Master.

Body Balance Activation Technique - Level II

Dates for the next level II training - 6th & 7th Feb 2010.

Level II works with the patterns of energy that we hold emotionally. You know you are ready for this level if your clients are presenting with repetative areas every session. This will show that they are holding a pattern that needs to be released. Level II works deeper into the body using Resonance Markers, which hold the correct frequency for the area of the body you are clearing and balancing. We also work on the limbic system with the intent to clear old habbitual emotional pathways and balance new more healthy ones.

Twelve-week Course

Next class begins on: 5th May until 21st July 2010, (Wednesdays).

Classes are small, consisting of six to eight students and are run once a week for three hours over twelve weeks, either mornings from 9am until 12pm, or evenings from 6pm until 9pm.

Revision Workshop: Dates TBA. This is a brand new workshop aimed at revising all the healing techniques learned in the 12 week reiki course, and 3 more! I have included a system for treating the meridians, and one for the immune system, and Dr Hayashi's Blood Circulation technique. This takes place over 2 days, a Saturday and Sunday, Cost R800.00, includes, manual, 2 x meridian charts, lunches and teas.

We still have Qi Gong lessons on a Sunday morning, from 7:30 till 8:30am - excluding puiblic holidays. If it is raining we can do it inside, and if the weather is nice we do it on my labyrinth. it is a wonderful way to start your day. It is on a donations basis. First Aid Course

Reiki with Crystals

On 25th August an interactive lecture was held by Swami Shankarananda on the use and benefits of Crystals in Reiki Healing. Each participant was supplied with a booklet outlining the method and sets of healing stones were available for purchase.

On the 1st September Swami Shankarananda

gave a fascinating talk on the science of Hindu prayer rituals
followed by a healing fire ceremony during which specific herbs for healing were burned during the recitation of ancient healing mantras. This was well-attended and enjoyed by all.

Chi Gong At the Energy Centre

On a typical dry Sunday, from 7:30 to 8:30 am, we gather together to do an hours Chi Gong with Chris Rooke on my labyrinth at the Energy Centre in Winston Park. This is open to everyone, and run on a donations basis. Please come and join us. contact Tracy for directions.
